GUIDELINES FOR MULTIPLY SELLERS & BUYERS:
by: pearlple
1. Establish a credible profile. This includes your network/contacts.
2. For SELLERS, always make communication lines open. Leave a notice on your site when you'll be available, if unable to go online to check orders & inquiries. If you receive a text message regarding your item, kindly make sure you'll be able to reply, if not immediately, atleast within the day. Remember, you posted the items for selling & not just for display.
3. For SELLERS, when posting an item, try to have a clear shot of the merchandise, if not possible, post several other pics of different angles/presentation. If available, include specs/dimensions/sizes & availability/stocks of the item. Again if you can't, make sure you're able to answer inquiries as accurate as possible.
4. For BUYERS, it's ok to inquire about an item, just give the seller time to answer them. Also, when making an order, please be specific with the details of your order/s to avoid confusions. Take time to decide if you'll purchase the item rather than having it reserved for the longest time & then just cancel. Take into consideration that there could be other buyers who are more determined to purchase it than you.
5. For SELLERS, upon confirmation of the order/s, initiate in giving out the infos regarding methods/modes of payments & confirm the amount to be paid. Make sure all accounts are open/valid to avoid delay.
6. For BUYERS, once you order's confirmed, avoid causing delay in sending agreed amount, if there would be problems, inform the seller right away. Once payment is sent, notify the seller so the arrangements for the shipping can be made. Don't forget to include your shipping details.
7. For SELLERS, acknowledge receipt of payment & inform buyer when to expect the shipment. When packing the merchandise, label or separate according to buyer or area of shipment to avoid mixed-up items. For breakable/delicate items, make sure the packaging will be able to support the merchandise. Double check for any damages etc. before shipping to avoid unsatisfactory transaction. Also update buyer which courier used & the tracking number to make buyer confident about purchase.
8. For BUYERS, while waiting for the shipment, take into consideration the sellers' availability & also the weather conditions There are also schedules of pick-ups & deliveries to be followed, and hey, sellers have lives too.
By the time you receive the package, check the contents if it's your order. If it's not, or if there's an additional item (aside from the freebie-which is optional) notify immediately the seller to make necessary arrangements.
9. Once everything's settled, BUYERS be gracious enough to leave a feedback on the sellers' site. As for the SELLERS make sure you treat your buyers all the same. In this way both can get repeat transactions/purchases. Plus it's always nice to have a good feedback about us right?
Number 10 is for me... Let's just say I had a bad experience with regards to purchasing (just recently) that's why I have this guidelines. I wasn't satisfied with the item, more so with the treatment I received. I'm not doing this to teach the person a lesson (there's always karma), but because I would like others to be more cautious with their actions, esp. over the net. It's not money or anything else ang puhunan dito, but TRUST & RESPECT.
